Global Soken Inc was co-founded 20 years ago by Mr Yukinobu Mori and Lord Michael Sandberg, ex CEO and Chairman of the HSBC Group.

Its mission then was the same as now – to excel in Clean Technology Research and Development (R&D), with particular focus on performance and economic viability.

At its laboratory in Japan, Global Soken has achieved numerous breakthroughs, culminating most recently in the creation of its Ionic Liquid.

When used as an electrolyte in an existing Li-Ion battery, Global Soken’s Ionic Liquid can practically double performance along several measures whilst also increasing safety.
